Bandsaw Hot Top and Conveyor

A jacketed band saw table, with a discharge conveyor mounted at table level.

The jacketed table top is heated with hot water, resulting in elimination of build-up and reduced operator fatigue. The out feed conveyor allows the operator to clear product as each cut is made, with an option to set the band saw on a plinth, with workers area in non-slip grating, putting the saw operation at the working height of the process room.

The jacket is piped with hot water from the process line supply, and has valves on the inlet and discharge, allowing for optimum temperature control. The conveyor is positioned to allow the product flow from the band saw to flow back to the processing line.

Scope of supply

The heating jacket is manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel, with stainless steel control valves, ready for site plumbing. The conveyor is manufactured from 304 stainless steel, with a removable thermoplastic modular belt for easy cleaning, and other parts from food grade thermoplastic. The option of mounting the saw on a plinth is done with a stainless steel frame, with a glass reinforced grating for the operator to stand on, complete with a fall back hand rail to maintain operator's safety.
